Nick Folks React To Chris Brown / Rihanna Issue!
So here’s what the parents of Nickelodeon kiddies and teenagers have to say about the Rihanna / Chris Brown issue: they are not “down” with that dude Chris.
Some 5,284 parents have signed a petition asking Nickelodeon to remove Chris Brown and Rihanna from its list of Kids’ Choice awards nominees. These petitioners say they’re doing this because the two are not good role models for the young.
The network, naturally, said no. The nominations stay. Still, this is an interesting development. Parents are actually paying attention to the news! Celeb news, yes, but it’s still news ![]()

the petition was not signed by kids…it was signed by their parents who were trying to pressure Nickelodeon to drop Chris Brown from the ballot. These parents should be a little more worried about living in front of their kids in ways that cause the kids to look to them as role models, then they won’t have the problem of someone like Chris Brown letting them down. If parents live as role models, then kids will just see Chris Brown and any other celebrity for what they are…fallible human beings.

happened to you.hope everything is ok.
We are doing more damage than we know, when we rush to judgment in situations like these. At the end of the day, when children are involved, we adversely transform their young lives, maybe permanently. We need to focus on understanding people and everything else. We’re too quick to condemn. In medicine and technology, this is what we do, and we find solutions. Condemnation leaves you at square one; understanding gives you solutions.
hey, nick kids choice awards is choose by kids, not parents! I agree if chris not being a nominee, but rihanna? about that bad news, its wasn’t her fault, its chris’ fault. She is too talented and lovely to disappear in nick kca. I still love her. At least, she wasn’t use drugs. She still can be a role model for a kids.
Chris dropped out himself. Nick wanted to keep him and i think that was smart on nick’s move. but anyways he is out and everybody need 2 kno he did it not nick
