Rihanna Photo Leak Now Solved! Cops Suspended!
Ever wondered how that notorious photo of a badly bruised and battered Rihanna ended up with the press? Some said it was a fake. Others said it was released by Rihanna’s camp to milk sympathy from appalled viewers. There were also those who said the photo was stolen from police files.
Well, finally, the mystery of the leak photo has been solved. How did the press get a’hold of the photo? It was leaked, that’s how. By who? This is where it gets interesting. As it turns out, it most likely was leaked by the cops!
Two Los Angeles female cops based in the Hollenback Area and the Wilshire Area Station are now facing disciplinary action and quite possibly charges, should their involvement in the photo leak be proved. They will remain suspended until the end of the investigation.
According to reports, TMZ shelled out $62,500 for the photo - quite a sum for a single snap, but not huge enough to be worth jeopardizing one’s career for. So much for the LAPD’s promise to protect and serve!
