Rihanna

RiRi is one of the most visible young stars out there. We’d be blind not to see her, since she’s such a style icon! Interestingly, for someone who’s out all the time, she’s a very private person. She rarely discusses her private life and doesn’t “accidentally” spill things about herself. Which is why it’s interesting… and refreshing that she’s now willing to open up and discuss the many things people wonder about.

For instance:

On discovering it was allegedly the police that leaked the photo of her battered face: “Trust me, I was [freaked out]. It was the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to me. I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that [with the other photo leak] and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘Oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life,’ ” she said. “It was humiliating and it was embarrassing – especially my mom having to see that.”

On her nude photos which were leaked early this year (yes, those were Rihanna’s, we finally know that now!): “They were for my boyfriend at the time….if you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him.”

On the support she gets from her mom: “I was nervous [but] when the world is against me she’s always there supporting.”

On the relationship she ended with Christ Brown: “My whole relationship with him was a learning experience. There was a lot of insecurity and a lot of control issues,” she said. “In relationships in the future I know how to watch out for certain things. A lot of those were signs. I learned that in the end.”

Well, RiRi’s certainly done a lot of growing up these days. This interview proves that!
